Go stand out.
Ohio Wheel develops wheels around specific riding conditions and performance characteristics rather than trying to make one formula do every job.
Our wheels are produced in small batches by Labeda in California using high-performance polyurethane systems selected for downhill and freeride skateboarding.
Smooth Roads. Predictable Slides.
The Round Lip is our freeride-oriented wheel for riders who value predictable release, controllable slides and dependable hook-up on smoother pavement.
Our heat-activated color-shifting system changes the appearance of the wheel as heat builds during riding and sliding.
Crafted with a High Rebound Race-formulated polyurethane, they feature
70mm diameter
49mm width
Rounded lip, stone ground surface
Center-set fiber reinforced core
Heat-activated color shift
High-rebound polyurethane
consistent slides and grip on smooth asphalt
Ride Character
Predictable release. Controlled slide. Positive hook-up. Fast roll.
Go fast enough.
Slide far enough.
Watch what happens.
If you don't, they won't.

Midwest select
Smooth pavement is easy.
The MIDwest Select was developed for the other kind.
A wider square-lip profile, 6 mm offset core and durable Plush Race polyurethane give the Midwest Select a planted, controlled feel on both rough and smooth surfaces.
The formula was chosen for riders who encounter patched asphalt, coarse pavement, bitumen and the generally questionable roads.
With the skin off, slide initiation becomes easier while maintaining useful braking power and control.
They feature
70mm diameter
57mm width
Square lip profile
6mm offset core
Plush Race polyurethane
Durable rough-road formulation
Heat-activated color shift
Ride Character
Planted. Durable. Predictable. Comfortable when the pavement isn't.
They're called Mid's.
Their performance isn't.
in frigore labi
Cold Road. Summer Attitude.
Polyurethane changes when temperatures fall.
So instead of pretending winter doesn't matter, we designed a wheel around it.
In Frigore Labi—Latin for to slide in the cold—is our experimental cold-weather freeride formula wheel.
The unusually soft polyurethane maintains a lively, high-rebound feel at temperatures where conventional freeride wheels can become noticeably harder and less cooperative.
The goal is simple:
Make cold-weather sliding feel a little more like summer.
The wheels feature:
66mm diameter
46mm width
Rounded lip
Stone-ground surface
6mm offset core
High roll speed
Best suited for approximately 40°F (4°C) and below
Ride Character
Easy cold-weather slide initiation. Fast roll. Lively rebound. No honking
This is an evolving formula.
Ride them. Abuse them. Tell us what happened.
That's how strange ideas become good products.
